About Ducky

I grew up in Connecticut with a large back woods that I would call “My Kingdom”. I learned from a very young age that I was happiest when surrounded by nature. A camera gifted to me by my grandfather when I was 10-years-old kicked off my first passion: wildlife photography. Through that experience I became even more fascinated with the non-human species in our natural world. My father David Joslin is an incredibly talented realism artist and my lifelong inspiration to pursue and develop my skills as an artist.

In 2017, I moved to Vermont to study Outdoor Education, Recreation, and Tourism with a concentration in Therapeutic Wilderness and Adventure Programming at Northern Vermont University – Johnson (NVU-J). I quickly discovered a love for the community found in college art courses. My passion for creating was quickly reignited. I worked as the studio assistant in the NVU-J ceramics studio. My primary mediums are ceramics, acrylic paint, and linoleum. My dream is to build a career working hands on with my muse as an Wildlife Avian Rehabilitator. I am currently living happily in Vermont as a part-time artist.
